Braven helps students from humble backgrounds that might otherwise not have the opportunity to learn professional skills to obtain a higher paying job due to obstacles that are out of their control. Delaware State University is the first public historically black college to partner with Braven, and as DSU President Tony Allen points out, many students are also first generation college students.
