The Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex is a major economic engine–home to global headquarters, booming industries like tech, healthcare, logistics, and finance, and home to a wide array of communities. Nestled just north of the urban core, Denton, Texas serves as a key part of this regional powerhouse. As one of the nation’s largest R1, public research universities, UNT plays a critical role in preparing students, many of whom are the first in their family to go to college, for meaningful careers and upward mobility.
UNT has a strong legacy of career-connected education–and by becoming Braven’s first Texas partner, it’s expanding that commitment in new ways. UNT plays a critical role in preparing students, many of whom are first-generation, for meaningful careers and upward mobility.
Together, Braven and UNT are helping to strengthen North Texas’s talent pipeline and ensure more students graduate ready to lead in today’s competitive job market.

Braven and the University of North Texas will launch the first Braven Accelerator class on campus in Spring 2026. UNT is deeply committed to preparing graduates for life after college, and this partnership will further propel that mission. Together, we will offer the Braven Accelerator as a for-credit course to an inaugural cohort of 200 UNT students, with plans to grow and serve approximately 4,000 sophomores and transfer juniors annually by Spring 2030. We’re working to ensure that more UNT students graduate with the skills, networks, confidence and experience to secure strong jobs or pursue graduate studies within six months of earning their degree.
